Two people were taken to hospital after a car ended up in a lake in the early hours of today. Merseyside Police officers were called to Marine Lake in Southport 1am on Tuesday November 2 after reports that a Ford Fiesta had gone into the lake. Two people, the driver and passenger, managed to get out the car. They were both taken to hospital as a precaution. Enquiries are currently car was recovered from the lake this morning.
