Winter storm Grayson, a bomb cyclone blizzard (named by meteorologists for a sharp atmospheric pressure drop) hit the East Coast with whiteout conditions, freezing cold temperatures, up to a foot of snow forecast as snowfall continues. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo declared a state of emergency in Westchester County where wind gusts of 50 mph were recorded this morning. Snow day for schools and businesses closed due to the snowstorm.
