Sun 6th Nov 2022 Polish War Memorial Brookwood UK All Souls Service
The annual service of remembrance following All Souls Day was held at Brookwood by the local Polish community. Wreaths were laid, prayers & blessings were offered and candles lit at each headstone of Poles who gave their lives for freedom in WW2. The candles are placed in red and white jars replicating the national colours and this gives a red hue to the scene.
