Then get yourscissors, a needle and some thread, a large,empty wooden spool, a bit of bright coloredcrepe paper, some cotton wool, and a roundstick of the size of a lead pencil, and youreready to begin. First well make the pin tree. Sharpenthe stick at one end. Cut a long, narrowstrip of the crepe paper and wind thistightly around the stick, beginning at theblimt end and ending with a little twist atthe sharp end. Then, take a wider strip ofthe paper and fasten it with a pretty bowaroimd the spool. Slit on
