In dry woods. Nova Scotia to British Columbia, south to Georgia, Mexico and California. Mountains of Santo Do- mingo. Also in Europe and Asia. Bitter wintergreen. Pine-tulip. Ground-holly. Bitter-sweet. Noble pine. Love- in-winter. King's-cure. June-Aug.
