Since the close of his gubernatorial term has been a member of the firm of Bever-idge & Dewey, bankers and dealers in commercialpaper at 71 Dearborn Street (McCormick Block),Chicago, and since November, 1881, he has also beenAssistant United States Treasurer: office in theGovernment Building. His residence is still at Ev-anston. He has a brother and two sisters yet residing inDe Kalb County—James H. Beveridge, Mrs. JennetHenry and Mrs. Isabel
