Ruins on Hashima Island, Japan. This island, near Nagasaki, used to be the access point for undersea coal mines, but was abandoned in 1974. The ruins have since become a tourist attraction, and the island became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015. Photographed in August 2017.
