It recommends the acceptanceof the invitation received from the Everett-Moore Syndicate tohold the next convention at Detroit. H. H. A. S. R. A. Colonel Heft: I move that the secretary be empowered to castone vote for the nominations as read. Carried. Colonel Heft: I move that it be resolved that we accept theinvitation of the Everett-Moore Syndicate to hold the conventionat Detroit the ensuing year. Carried. Mr. Sergeant: If general business is in order, I move you thatthe thanks of this association be tendered to the MetropolitanStreet Railway Co., the Brooklyn Rapid Transit Co., the ManhattanElevated Railroad Company and the other corporations and indi-viduals that have done so much in behalf of the association, andenabled it to have such adequate provisions for this convention andsuch a satisfactory convention altogether. I believe that a greatdeal has been done for us, and that we all appreciate it, and thata motion of this sort is certainly in order. Carried.
