Two car manufacturers make their owndisk wheels, namely Armstrong-Siddeley and Riley. Thefirst named has attached to the rim by welding and rivet-ing a disk with a very large hole in the center, the innerdiameter of the disk in the case of rear wheels overlappingthe brake drum and being secured to it by studs andnuts.
