A Japanese wakizashi, circa 1450 Blade shinogi-zukuri, torii-zori. Chu-kissaki, choji midare hamon. Jizo boshi with short kaeri. Chu-mukome hada with traces of the kesho polish, slightly stained. Nakago with one mekugi-ana and kiri yasurime, hardly legible inscribed "...Sadayuki". Gilt copper habaki with yasurime, slightly pitted mokkogata iron tsuba with wave decoration. Greenish cotton binding over same, menukis with leaf decoration. Lacquer tsuba with chopped straw.
