People have assembled at the Gutenberg Square for the vigil. Around 300 people followed the call of local trade unions and churches to a vigil in the city centre of Mainz, to remember the killed teenager Suanna F., despite the heavy rain. They laid down candles in remembrance of the victim. The right-wing "Kandel ist uberall' (Kandel is everywhere) movement held a rally under the pretext of the killing at the same time near by. It was attended by a handful of right-wing activists and challenged by around 100 counter protesters. (Photo by Michael Debets/Pacific Press)
