View SE of Belas Knap Neolithic long barrow, Gloucestershire, England, UK, showing the sloping burial mound with a horned forecourt at the N end. The remains of over 30 people were found in the four lateral burial chambers: one in the narrow S end; one in the E side near the S end; & two opposed chambers near the centre of the E & W sides. Excavated in 1863; excavated again & restored 1929-30.
