Soldiers from the Armed Forces of Djibouti (FAD) Bataillon d’intervention rapide (BIR) practice battlefield medical care techniques during a class with help from Army Staff Sgt. John Rangel, medical advisor, 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) Feb. 9, 2021, in an undisclosed location in Djibouti. The SFAB is helping to organize, train and equip the newly formed BIR to better prepare them for future operations.
