Georj^e Schreiber movedaway from him on July 7, 1749, and Philip Weber on. June 7, 1751. In the meantime Brother Henry Weberjoined him Xo\-cmber 24, 1749, and lived with himuntil June 10, 1751. This last removal was due tothe fact that the young man was no longer single. OnApril I, 1751, he was married to Catherine Sharpnack,Elder Alexander Mack performing the 12, 1752, their home was gladdened b) thebirth of a daughter, Christina. Two months later,December 14, 1752, he saw his mother blessedly fallasleep in heaven. On June 10, 1753, the congregation met in solemnservices and Elder Peter Becker, now old and feeble, The Two Christopher Sotvers. 393 laid his hands upon the head of Christopher Sowerand ordained him to the eldership. At the same timeAlexander Mack was likewise ordained and HenrySchlingluff was made a deacon by the same apostolichand-laying.
