OCEAN (March 16, 2019) An explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) team member assigned to EOD Mobile Unit 3 jumps into the water from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 14 during anti-mine countermeasures training in the Indian Ocean, March 16, 2019. The John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
