The materials of construction are, aside from the fireproof Hoors andwalls described, granite base with brick above to the cornice, above whichrises a green slate roof. The windows are disposed along the one side ofeach classroom providing unilateral light. The corridors and toilets have red, blocked cement floors with metalbaseboards. The entire building is fitted witli a vacuum cleaning outfit; itis brilliantly illuminated and fitted with all devices to make it a model fromthe standpoint of health and hygiene, and to make it a community centeras well as an educational center.
