For best results strawberries should be planted before April 1st. Do not plant after the middle of April. '..^-Brandywine. This is considered one of tlie finest mid-season to late-fruiting sorts. We do not know that it has a single defect. The fruit is extra large, heart shaped, color bright, rich red, and the flavor leaves nothing to be desired. Campbell's Early. An extra early variety of great merit—a very vigorous grower, producing great crops of large, rich, red berries. Practically all the fruit grows to full-sized perfection, ripening perfectly. It has no ^ superior for earliness and vigor. Chesapeake. A most reliable late berry, which is giving perfect satisfaction, both in the home garden as well as with market growers, many of the latter using it for their main crop. It is not a variety that sets an im- mense quantity of fruit, but every blossom makes a well developed berry, and strictly fancy, of good color without any green tips and of highest quality. We recommend this for all soils and conditions. Dr. Burrill. This early variety is highly praised by the experts because of its wonderful vigor. Having a very strong root system, it is not easily afi"ected by drought, its foliage is extra heavy and substantial, making it almost immune from leaf diseases. The fruit is a deep glossy red, while the flesh is solid and rich. We have great faith in and recommend it. Qandy'S Prize. The standard late variety, which has held its own for many years. It
