Joe Kahn, member of the Jewish War Veterans Post 385, offers remarks at a donation ceremony held at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD). The Jewish War Veterans donated various items, such as quilts and clothing, to the Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA), at NMCSD. The items will ultimately make it to patients at NMCSD. Kahn’s connection to NMCSD stems back to 1952, when he underwent training at NMCSD to become a Hospital Corpsman.
