Wounds received from an unprovoked attack by a Malamute breed of dog on this Jack Russell / Border Terrier cross. Both dogs are classed as pets but the Malamute is far larger than the small to medium sized Jack Russell / Border Terrier cross. The fur around the wounds has been shaved after emergency intervention (within an hour of the attack) by a vet. The Jack Russell / Border Terrier cross required immediate sedation in order to prevent long term trauma. In this image a shoulder wound can be seen.
