The distal segments are as broad as long and have the dorsal projection more strongly developed and more keel- like than do those of the larger cirri. The more elongated cirrus, from another specimen, shown in Fig. i (jg, is of 51 seg- ments and nearly 100 mm. long. The first two segments are broader than long, the third
