It isthirty-three feet in height, twenty-five feet wide, and fifteen feetdeep. The case is of quarter-sawed red oak, hand-somely finished, and the displayed pipes are arranged in gracefulgroups and are richly decorated. The wood-work of the key-boards and accessories is of handsomely polished ebony, while the LIBERAL ARTS. 393 keys, plates, Indicators, pistons, etc., are of genuine ivory. Theinstrument is valued at ^12,000. It has hundreds of pipes, includ-ino^ all sorts of combinations known to modern orean the display of band instruments, C. G. Conn, of Elkhart, Ind.^
