The Hardy Tree, growing between gravestones moved while Thomas Hardy was working in the area of St Pancras Old Church. The cemetery was first used in 1792 for the Catholic community in Camden and aristocrats fleeing the French Revolution. The site is part of a new station for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.
