The passenger ends of the combination cars areequipped with four 50-watt semi-indirect units, five 15-wattunits, and four auxiliary candle fixtures. The baggage endis lighted by four 15-watt fixtures, and has four auxiliarycandle fixtures. Three of the coaches are equipped with theaxle generator system, the others being equipped with thehead end system. Six-wheel trucks of the Commonwealth Steel Companysdesign are used under all the cars. They are provided withthe American Brake Companys clasp brake, and have 36-in.
