Washington (June 16, 2017) Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class Destiney Berthoud from Atlanta cuts a cake during a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Pride celebration on board USS John C. Stennis' (CVN 74) berthing barge used to provide living and workspaces during the maintenance period. John C. Stennis is conducting a planned incremental availability (PIA) at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, during which the ship is undergoing scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
