His devoted service to the Corps was one of hisleading activities, and in him we have a striking example of thelast hold which the Corps has on those of its members who havelearned the true significance of what in duty, patriotism and sol-dierly qualities it aims to teach. We mourn his loss, but the memory of a faithful, true and single-hearted officer and man
