ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 3, 2017) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Tiffany Davenport assigned to USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) directs a F/A-18E Super Hornet from the “Pukin Dogs” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 143 on the flight deck of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) for the first time following the ship’s four-year refueling and complex overhaul. Abraham Lincoln is underway conducting flight deck certification to ensure the ship and air wing is able to safely launch and recover aircraft
