SESC Pompeia, a cultural center in Sao Paulo, Brazil was designed by Italian-Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi in 1977 on the site of a former drum factory. Lina Bo Bardi is one of Modernism's best-known female architects. The work “GATO” by Brazilian artist Carmela Gross composed of the four illuminated panels “giallo”, “rosso”, “blu” and “verde” was installed on the structure of the building on the occasion of the "Quase Circo" exhibition, which took place from March 27 to August 25, 2024.
