We have copieda few pages in extenso at the beginning, to show the form ofthe Book. Afterwards we have made extracts only. Allthe more important entries have been already copied byLysons, and following Lysons, by Dr. Robinson ; but wethought an independent selection might preserve some ofinterest, and being familiar with the names of the inhabi-tants, we have copied such names as we have been accus-tomed to meet with elsewhere in the parish records.
