The arrest of the Cato street conspirators, February 23, 1820, (1901). The discovery of a plot to assassinate the entire cabinet of Britain's Parliament. The leader of the conspirators was Arthur Thistlewood. He was betrayed and arrested at a house in Cato Street. He and other conspirators were hanged.
