Infected eczema on the leg of a eleven year old boy. This condition is an inflammation of the skin accompanied by itching and blisters. Secondary infection of the blisters can occur as a result of scratching or poor hygiene. This infection was the consequence of a sensitivity to wearing shin pads. Eczema does not always have a known cause. It can be treated with soothing ointments and corticoid steroids.
