Sow the seeds in April or May, preferably under glass, in a soil composed of light sandy loam and leaf-mold. If tended carefully, the plants should be ready to trans- plant to their blooming quarters in September, where they will bloom early the next spring. Protect with a mulch of leaves in winter.
