A late 19th century view of the Cathedral Church of St Colman, aka Cobh Cathedral, a Roman Catholic cathedral overlooking Cork harbour in Cobh, County Cork, Ireland. Construction began in 1868 and the photograph illustates the building before the existing bell tower was erected. Designed by architects Edward Welby Pugin and George Ashlin it wasn't completed until over half a century later due to increases in costs and revisions of the original plans.
