Nadar Elevating Photography to Art. After a work by Honore Daumier from the French magazine Le Boulevard, May 25, 1863. Nadar was the pseudonym of French photographer Gaspard-Félix Tournachon, 1820 – 1910. Amongst his many accomplishments as a photographer, Nadar was the first person to take aerial photographs.
