The larva lives on "Ayua" {Zanthoxylum) and probably also on Citrus. Dist. This species is found from Texas to Paraguay on the con- tinent, and on all of the islands of the West Indies. The choromorph papinianus seems to be limited to Cuba, although it has been reported.
