Two Verreaux’s Eagles, Perched on a boulder, against a bright blue sky in the Augrabies National Park in South Africa. The Verreaux’s eagle, formally known as the African Black Eagle, occur in mountainous areas in southern and eastern Africa. With a wingspan of more than 2m it is one of the largest birds of prey in Africa.
