Hypsilophodon foxii dinosaur skeleton cast. Hypsilophodon foxii was a dinosaur of the Early Cretaceous period (146 to 100 million years ago). It was a bipedal animal almost two metres in length, and an agile runner. It had a pointed head with a sharp beak for biting off plant material, and its diet was herbivorous, or possibly omnivorous.
