The Paint/Maintenance Shop was constructed in 1931 by the Fred Harvey Company to provide an enclosed space to paint company vehicles and equipment. Built five years after the Power House and the Laundry, the Paint/Maintenance Shop is designed in a complimentary Rustic Swiss Chalet style. It was later converted to a maintenance shop. Presently it serves as an engineering office for Xanterra, a park concessionaire descended from the Fred Harvey Company.
