YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 20, 2017) – Machinist’s Mate 3rd Class Cole Lair, attached to the 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), inspects tubes in the ship’s main condenser in preparation for upcoming maintenance. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the 7th Fleet area of operations. (
