The organi-zation of this evening work follows five main lines of study, and opportunity is provided in each class of work for gradedcourses. Thus, under the head of Technical and TechnologicalEducation and Training, the youth may begin in a preparatoryevening school, where he is given a grounding in subjects funda-mental to trade courses; he mav then advance to one of thebranch artisan schools of Grade II., and afterwards to a highertechnical school of Grade III., or to one of the special industrialcourses at the University. Group courses are insisted upon, and the student, therefore, instead of spending his time andenergy upon isolated subjects, is encouraged to undertake acourse of study in related subjects, calculated to give him anintelligent and useful grasp of the particular branch of workin which he is interested. It is claimed that a very largepercentage of the students enrolled are taking complete coursesof CORRIDOR (senior DIVISION), COWPER ST. COUNCIL SCHOOL, LEEDS.
