The main purpose is for the students to learn how to navigate within a building with reduced visibility and to also remove a potential victim from the structure. The Basic Firefighting Course is taught by three Afghan civilian contract instructors: Sayad Sardar Ahmad (head instructor), Mohammad Zaher Anwari and Jalad Khan.
