A Central European ceremonial top adornment with figurative motifs, Urnfield Period, 10th - 8th century BC Bronze ceremonial finial made of several pieces with fine emerald green patina. On both sides applied male heads with intricately worked hair. The eyes originally inlaid with organic material, presumably bone or ivory. Two lateral eyelets shaped like birds' heads. Slender finial socket made of two pieces. Height 8 cm. Superbly crafted bronze work which was probably used for cultic rites.
