Straight Netting.—In this Netting there is neitherIncreasing nor Decreasing; the number of loops thatare required for the width of the work are Netted onto the Foundation Loop, and arc then worked untilthe length required is obtained. To work: On theFoundation Loop (see Fig. 635), Net in Plain Net-ting the number of loops required, and continue to Net. Fig. 635. StraightNetting, if required to be very even, should have two rowsworked on the Foundation Loop before the real piece iscommenced, as then every loop made will be of equalsize, which is not always the case when the work isimmediately begun from the Foundation Loop. Netted Articles.—The patterns previously givencan be used to woi*k the following articles, but, as distinctdirections as to number of loops and length of work isnecessary, the manner of working is described in detail:— Antimacassar.—The prettiest kind of Netted Anti-macassar is formed with Netted rosettes of two differentsizes; these rosettes are worked separately, and are thensewn together. One
