CORAL SEA (June 25, 2017) Force Reconnaissance Marines, assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conduct fast rope operations during helicopter rop suspension technique (HRST) training from an MH-60S Sea Hawk, attached to the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, onto the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard, flagship of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG), is operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance partnerships and be a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
