NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Jan. 28, 2019) Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Christina Earle, from Long Branch, New Jersey, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) combat systems department, receives her Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist certificate from Cmdr. Aaron Erickson, Ford's combat systems officer, during an awards-at-quarters presentation. Ford is currently undergoing its post shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
