Monument in honor of the dead of World War II, installed at Aterro do Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro. The site holds the remains of 462 Brazilian soldiers who were buried in Italy, at the Brazilian Cemetery in the city of Pistoia. The monument is known as "Monumento dos Pracinhas", by which the Brazilian soldiers were known in Brazil. Photo taken on July 27, 2015.
