This statue of St Roch is on the Hotel Flottes de Sebasan at the corner of Place Gambetta and Rue Alfred Sabatier in Pezenas. The saint is shown in his typical pose, displaying a wound on his thigh and with the dog that supplied him with bread and licked his wounds to heal them. He is especially invoked against the plague and skin diseases, and is the patron saint of bachelors, diseased cattle, dogs, surgeons, second-hand dealers and apothecaries amongst others.
