Hehas had an experience of twenty-threeyears in the business, and understands itthoroughly, having been employed in theprincipal shops of this country, as wellas those of Europe. The business is prin-cipally in the District, but extends tomany parts of the country. Mr. Shillingdoes a large amount of work for theUnited States Government, especially theUnited States geological survey, and hasa large number of testimonials alludingto the superiority of the instrumentsmanufactured by JOHN E. BEALL, Commissioner of Deeds for Every State and Territory, Notary Public, and TJ. S. Commissioner, 1411 F street.
