Gloved hands apply a granuflex dressing to a bruise (haematoma or bleeding) on the shin in an 81 year old female patient after a blunt injury. This patient has heart disease (atrial fibrillation) and is on warfarin, an anticoagulant drug which prevents clotting. Due to this drug the bleeding has been exacerbated. Intrasite gel has been applied before this sterile dressing. (see two images before this dressing)
