Haze Filtered Sun Looming above Doum Palms
An image of the Doum Palms found in Ein Evrona area in the south of the Arava Valley, not far from Eilat, Israel. This group of trees is considered to be the northern-most group of Doum Palms in the world. This particular image was taken just after a mild sand storm reached the area and created haze so the sun light appears as if filtered to become softer, making the outline of the sun softly-defined on the edges and the general mood of the picture is somewhat subdued.
