The Single French and the Dwarf Single French Marigolds hold the chief place in the class. Double African Varieties GUINEA GOLD (African)â2 ft. Carnation-like petals and unusually brilliant golden color, make this flower outstanding among Marigolds. It lacks much of the pungent odor of other Marigolds. The plant blooms very freely, and practically all of the flowers are double. Pkt., 10c; V-i Ozâ 50e. ORANGE PRINCEâLarge, perfect double quil- led flower of a rich, deep golden-orange color; the finest of all and very showy. Pkt., 10c; % Oz., 50c. LEMON QUEEN ââ A counterpart of Orange Prince, except in color, which is a soft lemon-yel- low. Pkt., 10c; % Oz., 50c. AFRICANâFinest mixed. The best tall vari- eties, with large, double blossoms in all shades of yellow and orange. Pkt., 10c; % Oz., 35c. X. DWARF FRENCH MARIGOLDS Few annuals are as efective as the French Marigolds or flower for so long a period: they all form dense bushes not over 12 inches high, and are unequaled for borders or beds. LEGION OF HONORâSingle, very dainty. Pkt., 10c. FRENCH MINEDâA splendid mixture saved from fine double flowers; all colors. Pkt., 10c; % Oz., 30c. MEXICAN MARIGOLD (Signata Pumila) â10 inch. A miniature Marigold forming compact little plants and completely covered with flowers, which are bright yellow with brown stripe down the cen- ter of each petal. Very striking for edgings.
